Welcome to
Easter Counselling
I am Easter, and I am a qualified counsellor with over five years of experience in counselling. My work focuses on the dynamics within relationships, helping individuals navigate emotional challenges and deepen their self-understanding.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling from the University of Edinburgh and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
My experience includes working at Hope Park, Hope Counselling, and Saheliya, where I have supported individuals from diverse backgrounds through various psychological challenges.

Whether you are going through a hard time or seeking understanding of the self, my aim is to let you know that you are not alone and work it out together.

Areas of Expertise
As someone who has lived and worked across different cultural settings, I understand how identity, upbringing, and social expectations shape our mental health. Navigating between cultures can bring a sense of belonging as well as internal conflicts, and I help clients explore these complexities with sensitivity.
Whether you are struggling with cultural adjustment, intergenerational expectations, or feelings of displacement, I provide a space where all aspects of your identity are acknowledged and respected.
I also recognize that for many, spirituality plays a significant role in shaping personal meaning, resilience, and emotional well-being. My approach allows space for exploring existential questions, values, and the role of faith or spirituality in personal growth, without imposing any specific belief system.
Throughout my career, I have supported clients facing:
-
Relationship Difficulties and Breakdowns
-
Trauma and PTSD
-
Abuse (Domestic, Physical, Emotional, Sexual)
-
Anxiety and Depression
-
Neglect and Stress Management
-
Bereavement and Grief
-
Experiences of Racism
-
Life Transitions
-
Loneliness, Low Self-Esteem
-
Self-Harm and Suicidal Thoughts

My Approach
My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from both person-centered and psychodynamic therapy. I provide a space where your feelings and experiences are explored from your perspective, guiding your reflections through thoughtful questions. At the same time, we examine relational dynamics to understand how past experiences have shaped your patterns of connection and interaction.

How it works?
In my approach, we begin by understanding your background and listening to your feelings with empathy and care. As we build trust, we work together to explore the deeper roots of your challenges, uncovering any patterns or dynamics that may be influencing your experiences. Through this process, we acknowledge these patterns and work collaboratively to address and resolve them, fostering healing and growth.
